The
farm shop (which replaced a small shed!) was built in 2000. The
main aim is to sell quality produce from local producers and businesses.
We believe food should be fresh, tasty and traceable. The farm
produces potatoes, cabbage/greens, squashes, pumpkins, salads
and soft fruit for the shop as well as cut flowers in season.
The range of fruit and vegetables is supplemented by other produce
from local farms as well as 'exotics' (oranges, bananas, avocadoes,
etc.) and out of season produce from Bristol Wholesale Market.
Bread
is delivered daily (except Sundays) from a local family run bakery.
Most meat and dairy produce is locally sourced from reputable
farms, often producers that we first met through Farmers' Markets
and is delivered fresh at least once a week. The range of food
